Designed for the communication needs of medium and large capacity enterprises, Karel IPG1000 Switchboard is a representative of the IPG Series, the IP communication platform of the future. With its high capacity, expandable from 8 lines to 64,000 lines, it offers a combination of basic IP and unified communication services.
It provides solutions that can be converted from TDM to hybrid or directly to pure IP for businesses that want to have economical, flexible, open to growth and development communication systems. Thanks to its flexible structure, IPG Communication Platform can be used by changing the structure in accordance with the needs and usage conditions.
Carrying all its features on the system, the IPG1000 supports the transition to the features needed at any time, quickly and without additional hardware.
SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS
The IPG Communication Platform is a real-time communication platform developed on proprietary operating system, so it easily meets all kinds of integration needs.
In the basic configuration of the IPG1000, the system structure, which can have 1056 TDM and 1000 IP lines, can be expanded up to 64000 lines in total. By increasing the server capacity, it is possible to increase IP subscriber capacity up to 250,000 lines and SIP trunk capacity up to 6,000 lines simultaneously. IPG500 is a system that can grow up to 112 TDM and 500 IP lines.
Since the IPG Communication Platform can be used as only software solution, convenient operation is possible on any server that is compatible with proprietary operation system. Although server specifications vary depending on the required capacity, a server with a 600MHz single-core processor and 1 GB Ram capacity can be used to have a system with 1000 IP subscribers.
The IPG Communication Platform supports the current SIP and H323 protocols at a level that can provide many flexible service to its users. Its structure, which is flexible and open for improvement, is a communication platform that allows users to perform many web-based transactions that they need more and more every day, and also contains many integrated communication features such as receiving the incoming calls automatically (IVR), voice recording (VL), voice mail boxes (VM), sending voice messages via e-mail (VM2EM), instant messaging (IM), monitoring instant status information (Presence) and Microsoft Outlook integration.
The entire system structure is programmed and managed through the web server located on the server. Thanks to web infrastructure, system can be programmed, managed and customized conveniently, both closely and remotely.
Thanks to RTP proxy feature, the system allows for quick and easy use of remote IP subscribers without requiring port routing for usage from the back of NAT and building VPN structures.
HARDWARE SPECIFICATIONS
IPG Communication Platform does not require additional cabins and investments thanks to its 19" cabin structure, and can be used in standard system cabins. While the fact that the cards used within the system have their own power circuits provides power productivity, it also provides much more durable structure against power regime deviations that may come from outer world. Both FSK and DTMF can detected/generated without requiring an additional card for Caller ID.
DECENTRALIZED AND CENTRALIZED CONFIGURATION
IPCC Structure : Systems in all locations with an IP network between them, can be used from a single system structure. In this structure, the system runs on hardware-based servers or virtual servers. Up to 3 towers can work without the need for a server. The systems in all units communicate with the central server via IP network and work as the towers of the system. In case of a problem in the connection between the central and the tower, the tower operates as a system by its own and when the problem is rectified, rejoins to the single system by communicating with the central again.
Thanks to this structure, geographical backup and sustainability are supported. The gateway modules of both IPG1000 and IPG500 systems can be used when configuring towers. In the IPCC structure, conversations between centers can be encrypted. The IPG Series, with IPCC structure, can be expanded within a single system configuration by interconnecting only through Ethernet infrastructure and this expansion can be achieved independent of the distance.
Compatible with Fiberoptic Infrastructure : Thanks to the Fiber Optic Card integrated in the IPG Communication Platform, the fiber optic network can be terminated directly on the system. This way, it is no longer required to use a fiber switching device and supply with battery or UPS.
Integrated Features with VRC CARD: Integrated voice recording, IVR, voice mail recording and Voice Mail (sending voice mail) are embedded in the hardware and software of VRC card. This features are provided optionally according to your requirements. You can have 16-channel voice recording and 16-channel IVR features at any time, without the need for additional hardware, simply by activating it with a VRC license. In cases where more channels are needed, an additional VRC card and license must be added. The VRC card provides embedded call recording and IVR in the IPG Communication Platform. System and robot operator messages can be read, voice messages can be left to subscribers and messages can be listened to. Calls of subscribers and external lines can be recorded. Recorded calls and messages can be sent via e-mail or, if desired, can be stored on the system or inan external environment. Call records can be monitored and reported by means of WebCM.
FULLY INTEGRATED GATEWAY STRUCTURE
One of the most important features that differentiate the IPG Communication Platform is the integrated gateway (media gateway) structure. IPG1000 gateway structure, allows the system to connect with TDM network through many different interfaces. As this structure contains many different technology from past to present, the system can be configured in a hybrid structure. This way, users do not have to replace all their legacy network components at once to take advantage of IP communication capabilities and have the opportunity to gradually migrate their technology to the IP platform. Gateway structure of IPG1000 Communication Platform has a completely modular structure that provides expansion of the TDM capacity of the system from 16 lines to 64000 lines. This structure, which makes it possible to use completely the same modules from the lowest to the highest capacity, enables the needing organizations and institutions to reach to high capacities with minimum cost.
